A graphic interpretation of the Memphis design group's playful clashes of shape, pattern, and color. It is intentionally more unruly than a modernist geometric system.

## Build it
1. Choose a limited set of patterns.
2. Place them in margins or illustration.
3. Keep the reading area comparatively quiet.

## Example
A festival program with patterned section dividers and clean schedule cards.

## Typography
Bold geometric sans-serif lettering complements the shapes. Keep body text free of pattern and rotation.

## Practical consequences
- Starting projects: Portfolio, Store. These are suggestions, not restrictions.
- Reading/layout: spacious; bold visual emphasis.
- Asset work: A small set of original patterns gives the page coherence.
- Complexity: medium. Allow time for a coherent decorative or image layer and responsive checks.

## Limits
Putting competing patterns behind text or treating every bright geometric layout as Memphis.

## Reading the collected reference board
Compare the patterned fields, clashing shapes, and deliberately playful compositions. The references are modern graphics drawing on the vocabulary of the design group.
