A maritime-inspired vocabulary of clear markings, navigational structure, and restrained material cues. Decorative stripes are optional; the stronger idea is organized information.

- Use blue as a controlled accent.
- Make headings and units explicit.
- Use chart-like lines only when they communicate relationships.
