I’m Jonathan Christensen. I build automation tools for IT teams at centrexIT in San Diego.
I joined centrexIT in 2021, starting in frontline support before moving into provisioning. Working through those tasks manually gave me the context to rebuild the process and begin automating it in 2023. AI Automation Engineer became my full-time role in 2025.
My work now spans service desk tools, Microsoft 365 reporting, and AI-assisted workflows. I work with the people using those systems, from identifying the problem through rollout and feedback.
My approach is to turn field learning into reusable tools and standards. The engineering overview connects my agent tooling, operational workflows, and public reference work.
I also build personal tools and experiments. Territories is my design reference explorer; Shot Pill connects screenshots on my Mac to my remote coding workflow.
