I built out deployment and configuration automation on Immy.Bot while continuing to own the provisioning process.
One delivery chain #
Field Support Engineer and Provisioning Lead were concurrent responsibilities. I served as the primary logistics coordinator connecting equipment, configuration, inventory, and onsite engineer readiness.
Less hands-on repetition #
Across the provisioning improvements, active technician effort on a fresh-machine onboarding path fell from roughly 45 minutes to about two minutes. That measures hands-on effort, not total elapsed delivery time. Human quality control remained part of the workflow.
Automation carried more of the repeatable work while I continued managing the process around it.

September · iPhone 16 Pro #
I bought into the iPhone 16 Pro generation and could barely tell the difference. The chip interested the hardware addict in me, but the everyday experience didn’t justify the change. I should have kept the money.
The Apple Intelligence launch didn’t make me feel better about rewarding another annual upgrade. Looking back, this is one of the clearest examples of buying the next thing without getting much out of it.

November · The iMac comes full circle #
Eight years after my grandmother and I chose it together, the family iMac reached retirement. I used it from 2016 to 2018, then my grandmother and cousins kept it going until 2024.
The computer we had invested in together had served the family for eight years. Seeing it come full circle brings me back to choosing it with her in 2016, and how much her support made possible.

My personal setup continued to change too. By December, the desk had grown into the multi-monitor arrangement pictured below.
